Bard Electrics were established in Huntingdon in 1967, moved to Brampton in 1976 and returned to the industrial area of Huntingdon in 1995. Bard Electrics became a Limited company in August 2000 and moved to our current base in Alconbury in 2010.

The company employs a professional and highly motivated team of skilled engineers with many years of successful experience in the electrical and data industry, where the endeavour is to satisfy each customer with a safe and efficient installation, followed by our rigorous NICEIC testing, certification and customer support services.

Our technical design and management team provide a comprehensive and skilled service in all areas of electrical engineering such as mains installations, lighting and power, fire alarms, emergency lighting, heating and ventilation controls and all areas of electrical testing. Bard Electrics are also able to design and install data systems to suit our client’s requirements. Our use of the latest technology and products combined with the above-mentioned skills, makes us a significant and reliable partner for electrical and data projects of any size.

These projects have successfully been carried out nationally for many notable organisations such as: Lloyds/TSB, Tesco, Zurich Insurance, English Heritage, the National Trust, Peterborough Cathedral, Marriott Hotels and Lola Cars as well as a number of national construction companies such as RG Carters and Speymill and Local Government and Health Authorities, we are currently electrical maintenance term contractors for the Cambridgeshire Constabulary.

The key skills of our staff at our Alconbury headquarters, the excellent communications links from Cambridgeshire together with our customer support services are significant factors in ensuring successful implementation of the contracts we undertake with our overall aim being one of “Commitment, Quality and Care”.

Membership of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), Constructionline and Safecontractor, enables us to keep up to date with new technology, Health and Safety requirements and provides support to run a successful business.
